주께서 옛적에 땅의 기초를 놓으셨사오며 하늘도 주의 손으로 지으신 바니이다

In the beginning you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands.

 

천지는 없어지려니와 주는 영존하시겠고

They will perish, but you remain.

 

그것들은 다 옷 같이 낡으리니 의복 같이 바꾸시면 바뀌려니와

They will all wear our like a garment. Like clothing you will change them and they will be discarded.

 

주는 한결같으시고 주의 연대는 무궁하리이다

But you remain the same, and your years will never end.

 

너희는 이전 일을 기억하지 말며 옛날 일을 생각하지 말라

Forget the former things, do not dwell on the past.

 

보라 내가 새 일을 행하리니 이제 나타낼 것이라

See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up.

 

너희는 유혹의 욕심을 따라 썩어져 가는 구습을 따르는 옛 사람을 벗어 버리고

You were taught with regard to your former way of life to put off your old self, whichis being corrupted by its deceitful desires.

 

오직 너희의 심령이 새롭게 되어 하나님을 따라 의와 진리의 거룩함으로 지으심을 받은 새 사람을 입으라

To be made new in the attitude of your minds, and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.

 

그런즉 누구든지 그리스도 안에 있으면 새로운 피조물이라

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.

 

이전 것은 지나갔으니 보라 새 것이 되었도다

The old has gone, the new has come.

 

새 계명을 너희에게 주노니 서로 사랑하라

A new command I give you, Love one another.

 

내가 너희를 사랑한 것 같이 너희도 서로 사랑하라

As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
